Dr. Wong is the senior-most member of our medical group, practicing at Torrance Memorial since 1996. A native Californian, he grew up in Silver Lake, attended college at UCLA, and acquired a few Midwestern sensibilities attending Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. A residency in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center came next and the rest is history. He has a continuing relationship with Harbor as part of the clinical teaching faculty, helping to train the next generation of Emergency Medicine specialists. When not engaged in patient care or teaching, Dr. Wong can be found "geeking out" in the world of medical informatics (he's the group's other informalicist) endeavouring to make computers more useful to physicians ...or traveling, or enjoying a nice meal with a glass of fine wine (reformed 'wine snob', now just a 'wine geek').
