Amanda Clauson, MD
Dr. Amanda Clauson was born in Hawaii and grew up in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology and sociology at Texas A&M University, graduating summa cum laude. She moved to California in 2007 to attend medical school at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Society honors. From there, she completed her four-year emergency medicine residency at Los Angeles County Hospital at the University of Southern California. Dr. Clauson is now a board-certified emergency medicine physician and has been practicing medicine at Torrance Memorial Medical Center for over five years. When not working, Dr. Clauson enjoys spending time with her family and dog, learning how to cook Indian food, playing piano, reading, watching UCLA football, hiking, and traveling.
